A good quick meal option if you're traveling along the 5 like we were. It's fast food but definitely above average. Had a large basket. Good batter, good fries, very good slaw. Nice owner and wife run the place.

We just went there today and everything was above average. The batter on the fish was crisp and a wonderfully tasty seasoned batter. The fries were crispy unlike anything I have had before. I tried the coleslaw, I have never liked coleslaw but this was different, I ended up finishing the entire cup. I am happy with their food and will be returning. The chowder was buttery (I have never been a soup person either but what I got was wonderful). They have more than three tables, they have outside tables and the tables inside. You have to remember that 4 months ago they were starting out, they needed resources to upgrade the restaurant.

Not bad! I've had better but the fish was pretty tasty. The shrimp..so, so....a little too salty. The French fries were exceptional but the onion rings...nah! I didn't care for the coleslaw at all although I had seen some good reviews. The clam chowder, we were given a sample, was quite good. That was a nice touch to bring over a sample. Would I go back? If I were to continue to eat fish but now that I hear our oceans are so polluted with nuclear waste ...I don't think I'll be eating fish anymore. This is sad for this business...sad fr the world.

Have visited Patty Ann's this week and last Spring. It's not a UK style chip shop and doesn't try to be. Judging on its own merits, Patty Ann's is a gem in a small town on the drive between Portland and San Francisco. The staff and owner are great hosts. The fish is very fresh and flaky. The chicken is very good as well. The only negative comment from our group is the cole slaw was deemed a bit too sweet. We intend to visit each time we're in the area, and advised the owners to set up a web site to make themselves easier to find on Google, etc.

Yum! Best fish ever! Thick flakey steak with thin seasoned batter. Fries crispy w light batter. Def a must stop if you are in town or on a road trip and want good food. The owner was very nice and personable. Will be back!

After eating here for the first time, Mr. Picky told me he just had to take us here. We all shared the sample platter which was wonderful. The batter was not soggy and had herbs and seasoning in it which added to the taste. It was such a lovely day we sat outside at one of 5 picnic tables. I had to try the coleslaw since my husband ranted and raved about it. We both hate the mayo based coleslaw out there and this was so fresh and different! NO MAYO! Just awesome and clean! We can't wait to go back and try the calamari and a few more items on the menu.

I visited this restaurant today and had a cup of the chowder along with fish & chips. The chowder is good but needs a few veggies. This time the fish batter wasn't soggy but nothing else had changed. As noted by other reviewers, some picnic tables and benches have been added outside.
